In a world surrounded by evil, we dare not be complacent. In this sobering message, Conroy urges us to walk with wisdom – “in the world, but not of the world” – in full reliance on Jesus Christ for victory against the enemy.
Why should you bother to read your Bible? In this message, Conroy offers several reasons for reading the Bible, explaining that it contains the Gospel – the good news for every person. Listen to be encouraged in learning about God and sharing his message, by embracing His Word!
Without proper motivation, even simple things can be dull, difficult, and frustrating. Conroy offers three compelling motivations to serve God with all our heart. Each of us can choose the motivations of the flesh, or of the Spirit. Which will you choose?

Though Jesus was perfect and without sin, he faced temptations. Conroy looks at five of these tests our Savior faced, and considers what we can learn from Jesus’ example of victory over the enemy. Listen below:
Eight valuable lessons from Jesus’ fight against Satan:
Some of His greatest temptations were experienced when He was alone.
He was faced with these temptations when he was spending time in prayer.
The temptations came prior to great spiritual events.
Jesus taught the importance of saying no to the flesh and saying yes to God.
Jesus overcame by holding to the truth of God’s words and not believing a lie.
Even though the struggle was very real and difficult, He was never given more than He could handle and He received strength from the angels that came and ministered to His needs.
Temptations always come from the devil, the enemy of God.
Jesus endured the temptations to the end and always came out with victory.

Conroy shares what he’s been learning about Jesus’ role as our high priest. As both the sacrifice and high priest, Jesus ensures that we are clean and holy. With this in mind, Conroy echoes the invitation of Hebrews: “Come boldly unto the throne of grace.”
